Terms and Conditions
Chicano’s “Win Free Tacos for a Year” Contest Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is Chicano Restaurant & Bar, located at 371 Brunswick St, Fitzroy, ABN 81 488 565 745.
2. Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees of Chicano Restaurant and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
3. Promotional Period
The contest commences at 12:00 AM AEST on July 16, 2025, and has been extended to conclude at 11:59 PM AEST on September 30, 2025.
4. How to Enter
To enter, participants must, during the Promotional Period:
a) Dine in at Chicano Restaurant;
b) Join our email mailing list;
c) Leave a Google review for Chicano Restaurant; and
d) Fill out the entry form with their details.
Each participant may make one entry per dine in booking at Chicano. Participants only need to join the mailing list and leave a Google review for their first entry. There’s no limit to how many entries a participant can make, however each must match with a dine-in Chicano booking.
5. Prize Details
The prize is “Free Tacos for a Year,” consisting of one taco meal per week for 52 weeks, starting from the date the winner is notified. Each meal includes a “four of a kind” meal of tacos from our menu, valued at $25 per meal. The total prize value is approximately $1300.
The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash. Unused meals in any given week will not roll over to subsequent weeks. Menu items are subject to periodic change. Meals are only redeemable when dining in at the restaurant.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries on October 5, 2025, at Chicano Restaurant. The winner will be notified via the email address provided upon entry within two business days of the draw.
7. Unclaimed Prize
If the prize is unclaimed by October 19, 2025, a redraw will occur on October 20, 2025, at the same location. The new winner will be notified as per clause 6.
8. Privacy
Personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of conducting this contest and will be handled in accordance with Chicano Restaurant’s privacy policy, available at https://chicano.au/privacy-policy/.
9. General Conditions
Chicano Restaurant reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of Chicano Restaurant, which are final and binding.
