Straight out of Compton and landing in Fitzroy! Chicano is already serving the best tacos in Melbourne, so now we’re serving the best fried Chicken. This pop-up comes from an old colleague of Chef Kingsley’s — the former sous chef of J’AIME in Bangkok — who likes to keep things low profile and let the food speak for itself. After training in French fine dining kitchens across the world, he turned his focus to fried chicken, refining his recipes at legendary LA spots like Howlin’ Ray’s and Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles. 

Now he’s bringing those flavours to Melbourne for a special preview at Chicano. Expect serious fried chicken, bold sauces, and LA flavour with a Melbourne edge.
